Features

1. Negative Hook Angle for Safety Cut: The negative hook angle helps reduce the blade's tendency to pull the workpiece, keeping the material more stable against the table and fence.
2. Miter Saw Precision: ATB(BC) tooth geometry is designed for clean visible end cuts on picture frames, moulding, casing and baseboard.
3. Reduced Bouncing and Kickback Risk: Suitable for chop cutting and sliding miter saw operations where controlled tooth entry is critical.
4. Thin Kerf Efficiency: Removes less material and reduces cutting load, suitable for 7-1/4 inch / 184mm miter saws.
5. Anti-Stick Coating: Teflon coating helps reduce resin, adhesive and MDF dust build-up for smoother cutting.

DETAILS

Negative Hook Angle Design for Controlled Miter Saw Cutting

During miter saw cutting, a blade needs more than sharp teeth - it needs controlled feed behavior. The NAKAMURA AKUMA miter saw blade uses a negative hook angle design so the teeth enter the wood more smoothly, helping reduce material grabbing, bouncing and kickback tendency. For picture frames, moulding, baseboard and door casing end cuts, stable control is more important than aggressive feed speed.

Precision Plate Grinding

The blade body is made from heat-treated 65Mn or 75Cr1 steel plate and processed with precision flattening and tensioning. This helps the blade remain stable during high-speed rotation. For miter and crosscutting applications, a stable plate reduces kerf wandering and improves end-cut squareness and joint fitting accuracy.

Application

This carbide tipped miter saw blade is suitable for woodworking applications that require clean end cuts, accurate joint fitting and safer cutting control:
• 45° miter cuts for picture frames and decorative profiles
• Door casing, baseboard and moulding trimming
• Crosscutting MDF, OSB, plywood and engineered wood
• Furniture factories, renovation jobsites and woodworking workshops
• Miter saw applications where reduced bouncing and kickback risk are important

FAQ

Q: Why does a miter saw blade need a negative hook angle?

A: A negative hook angle allows the teeth to enter the wood more smoothly, helping reduce aggressive grabbing, workpiece bouncing and kickback tendency. It is suitable for miter saws, sliding compound miter saws and precision crosscutting.

Q: What materials can this blade cut?

A: It is suitable for solid wood, MDF, OSB, plywood, engineered wood, decorative moulding, picture frame profiles, door casing and baseboard.

Q: How should I choose 24T, 40T or 60T?

A: 24T is suitable for faster crosscutting, 40T balances speed and finish quality, while 60T is better for fine visible end cuts such as picture frames and decorative moulding.

Q: Is OEM customization available?

A: Yes. Outer diameter, bore size, tooth count, tooth geometry, hook angle, coating color and packaging can be customized according to the customer's machine and market requirements.
