DETAILS

BC Clean Cut Teeth: Edge Control for MDF and Laminated Panels

The ATB geometry is suitable for panel cutting where edge quality matters. Compared with coarse-tooth blades, it offers better edge control when cutting MDF, particle board, and plywood.

For fixed-size furniture panels, cabinet board cutting, or trimming before edgebanding, ATB teeth are more suitable than general fast-cutting tooth designs.

Used for precision cutting of materials

It is suitable for MDF, particle board, OSB, plywood, and engineered wood. During continuous cutting, users should regularly check tip wear, plate flatness, and edge quality to avoid using the blade after excessive dulling.

Application

High-volume MDF cutting in furniture factories; crosscutting particle board, OSB, and plywood; cabinet panel sizing; trimming before edge banding; continuous cutting on woodworking production lines; OEM/ODM tooling supply. Not recommended for: metal, stone, cement board.

Technical Data for Buyers

Carbide Tip Hardness: Recommended HRA 90–92; Resharpening Cycles: Recommended 3–5 times; Materials: MDF, particle board, OSB, plywood, engineered wood; Recommended Users: furniture factories, cabinet manufacturers, panel processors, tool distributors; Key Benefits: wear resistance, resharpenable design, continuous cutting performance, lower cost per cut.

Wear Resistance in MDF / Particle Board Cutting

MDF and particle board contain glue, compressed fiber, and wood dust, which can wear carbide tips faster than solid wood. The Chop Saw Blade For Wood uses wear-resistant carbide tips and an anti-friction coating to help maintain sharper edges during continuous cutting, reducing burning, chipping, and increased cutting resistance caused by dull teeth.

Resharpening Guide

Professional resharpening is recommended when cutting resistance increases, burn marks appear, chipping becomes more visible, or feed speed drops. Under normal furniture panel cutting conditions, 3–5 resharpening cycles are recommended. After each resharpening, check remaining tip height, brazing strength, and plate flatness before use.

Factory Show

Blade specifications can be adjusted according to the customer's machine and cutting material, including diameter, bore size, tooth count, kerf, coating, and packaging. For furniture factories and tool distributors, sample testing can be arranged before confirming bulk specifications.

If the customer mainly cuts MDF, particle board, or laminated panels, it is recommended to provide machine model, RPM, panel thickness, daily cutting volume, and required edge quality during inquiry, so that the tooth geometry and kerf can be matched more accurately.

FAQ

Q: Is this blade suitable for MDF cutting?

A: It is mainly used for MDF, particle board, plywood, OSB, and engineered furniture panels.

Q: What is the carbide tip hardness?

A: The recommended carbide tip hardness is HRA 90–92. The final value can be confirmed according to the actual carbide grade and inspection report.

Q: How many times can the blade be resharpened?

A: Under normal panel cutting conditions, 3–5 professional resharpening cycles are recommended. The exact number depends on remaining tip height and actual wear condition.

Q: Is this blade suitable for long-term furniture factory use?

A: Yes. The blade focuses on stable cutting edges, lower cutting resistance, and longer resharpenable service life.
